Patchwork 'Sprint & Verdant' Scarf

Leftover pieces of the ‘Spring & Verdant’ print in silk twill are pieced together with micro French seams into a scarf, layered over with a loose t-shirt in a papery cotton crepe. This print captures Forbidden Spring’s golden hues of Gourami fishes residing in the indigo and olive algae pond where they lend themselves to familiar hues of everyday nature. This essence is captured through personal photography, digitally superimposed with infrared colours of Colocasia Esculenta veins, evoking a hand-drawn illustration.
This fabric is specially designed from lens to print by byu. Silk needs special care to stay fluid and soft. When possible, gently hand wash with water at 25°C (77°F). Always wash colors separately. Avoid tumble drying, wringing, bleach and rubbing stains. Use a delicate detergent for protein fibers. Lay it flat to air dry. You may iron and steam the silk directly with the silk setting.
