'Spring & Verdant' top

This top is made in silk twill, featuring a print of Forbidden Spring’s golden hues of Gourami fishes residing in the indigo and olive algae pond. This print lend themselves to familiar hues of everyday nature captured through personal photography. It is digitally superimposed with infrared colours of Colocasia Esculenta veins in ‘Spring & Verdant’ print, evoking a hand-drawn illustration. This top includes a foulard made from an off-cut. Micro pleats on the shoulder create a detailed cowl look. The silhouette is enriched by generous volume from an additional layer on the front, meeting on both sides.
This fabric is specially designed from lens to print by byu. Silk needs special care to stay delicate and soft. Ideally, gently hand wash in water at 25°C (77°F). Always wash colours separately. Avoid bleach and rubbing stains. Use a delicate detergent suitable for protein fibres. Lay flat to air dry. Silk can be ironed and steamed directly using the silk setting.
